For those of you who are “inexperienced” in the joys of housebuilding – congratulations.  You’ll live long and prosperous lives.

For the rest of us, we know that the process of building a home is one of long periods of expensive boredom punctuated by moments of even more expensive terror.  We’re highly confident in this theory because we’ve now done it twice.
