“If it weren’t for the rocks in its bed, the stream would have no song” – Carl Perkins

One rock at a time, but it’s adding up to something nice.

Beginning of the stone wall

Very simple, but one of our favorite parts of the new house. The wall will edge a small bluestone patio

The front of the wall will be the back of a little fire pit

  1. Sam Miller. He did an AWESOME job on the chimney / fireplace. Building stone walls isn’t his “favorite thing,” but it’s looking nice. (And I’m OK with anyone describing stacking rocks as “not their favorite job.”)
